Malone Solutions is seeking a motivated and friendly Appliance Counter Person to join our team in Alsip, IL. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with their appliance needs. Your expertise and customer service skills will help create a welcoming environment while ensuring that our customers find the right products for their homes.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries about appliances.
- Provide detailed information on product features, specifications, and pricing.
- Assist customers in selecting appliances that meet their needs and preferences.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized counter area, ensuring product displays are well-stocked.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest appliance trends and promotions to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in the appliance industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and other retail technology.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, reach and lift/ carry items of varying weight throughout the shift.
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
- Must be willing to submit to a background check
