Malone Workforce Solutions is hiring entry level Machine Operators for an Industrial Packaging and Containers company in the town of Lockport, IL. Apply today to get started!

Machine Operator Highlights:

Rotating shifts
1^st shift 6:00AM – 6:00PM
2^nd shift 6:00PM – 6:00AM
$19/hr.
Temp to Hire

Responsibilities:

Under direct supervision performs entry level routine activities associates with various types of assembly machine operation and/ or set up. Follow established procedures. Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Positions stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template. Develops basic knowledge and skills through on-the-job training and experience.
Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
Carry out routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
Maintains logs and records of units produced. Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment, performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
Follow safety regulations
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be willing to submit to a drug screen.
Must be willing to submit to a background check.
Ability to walk, stand, stoop, reach and lift/carry items of varying weight throughout shift.
Minimal Experience required
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
