Our client, a major logistics and distribution company, is seeking Warehouse Workers and Material Handlers to join their team in Louisville & Shepherdsville, KY. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for shipping and receiving bulk shipments, picking and packing orders, inventory control, and assembling school supply kits together. The ideal candidate will have communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Shifts:
All Shifts Available!!
1st Shift
2nd Shift
3rd Shift
Rotating Shift- 12-Hour day shift Sunday-Tuesday or 12-Hour day shift Wednesday- Friday, both shifts work every other Saturday for 8-hour shifts (Urgent hiring for these shifts)
What’s the Job:
Unloading and unpacking shipments
Inbound shipment processing
Scanning and shelving parts/boxes/merchandise
Picking and packing customer orders
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Reach Truck Operators:
Trained to operate assorted material handling equipment in a safe manner
Able to complete duties both accurately and in a timely manner
The equipment will be utilized for inbound trailer unloading, put away of stock, movement of stock, cycle counting of stock, picking of stock, and outbound loading of trailers
Reach Truck Operators with sit down counter balance, deep reach truck, order selector, turret truck, and/or electric pallet jacks is a plus but not required for all positions
The above duties are meant to be representative of the position and not all-inclusive
What’s Needed?
Must be able to communicate and understand English
Must be able to work overtime as needed
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time (8-12 hours as needed)
High school diploma or GED
Successfully pass a background
Reliable transportation
