Position Overview
We are looking for a Sales/Customer Support Specialist to support our Sales and Customer Service teams.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales and Customer Service, this role focuses on managing data in Salesforce.com, providing sales support, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce.com Management:
- Manage ongoing data within Salesforce.com and SAP.
- Support Sales Managers in maintaining account data integrity across ERP and CRM systems.
- Build and maintain customer contact databases.
- Collaborate with IT teams to update and optimize Salesforce.com.
- Implement CRM best practices to enhance sales processes and user adoption.
- Serve as the Salesforce.com expert for the organization.
Sales Support:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Sales and Customer Service teams.
- Assist with sales, commission, and rebate reporting and analysis.
- Support various projects and presentation development.
- Engage with customers as an extension of the Sales and Customer Service teams.
Liaison and Training:
- Act as a liaison with the accounting team to resolve customer invoicing, payment, and rebate issues.
- Assist in training new Sales and Customer Service team members on systems, reporting, and processes.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales administration, operations, or support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong experience with Salesforce.com is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Energetic, dynamic, and customer-oriented personality.
