Malone Solutions is hiring Barback at one of Kentucky's leading bourbon distilleries in the Louisville downtown area. If you have food industry experience and/or a bourbon enthusiast, then apply here!
BARBACK DETAILS:
- Pay: $16.54/hr plus tips
- Must be available on weekends and evenings as needed
- Must be available on Mondays to prep after a busy weekend
- Expect about 15 hours/week
- A typical prep shift is 1pm-6pm
- A typical barback event shift is 6pm-10pm
BARBACK RESPONSIBILITES:
- Assists Cocktail Specialists with daily setup tasks as needed
- Assist in preparation of cocktail ingredients as needed
- Learn to build and serve as Finishing Room cocktails as well as 50 classic cocktails
- Assist Cocktail Specialists with bar and event service as needed
- Maintain Finishing and Toasting Room cleanliness by assisting with cleaning, bussing, organizing, and dishwashing tasks
- Ensure that all used glassware is cleaned, polished, and distributed in a timely fashion
- Periodically check cleanliness and stocking needs of restrooms
- Assist Cocktail Specialists and Event Manager with any event related duties
BARBACK REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-2 years of bar back experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
