Forklift Operator Job Summary:
- First shift and Third Shift hours available-Both shifts pay $19.50/hour
- Must be open to weekend day
- Responsible for operating a forklift/reach truck/ cherry picker picking orders for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating and stacking of products.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient use of the equipment.
- Responsible for order selection and stocking as the need dictates.
- Will be on and off the forklift picking orders (not 100% of the time on a forklift).
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.
Forklift Operator Requirements:
- Capable of operating forklift, cherry picker, reach truck and double walkie.
- Previous warehouse experience as forklift operator at last one full year.
- Capable of heavy lifting up to 50lbs.
- Capable of working in a freezer like environment
- Capable of following verbal and written instructions Be able to read
- Have no fear of heights
- Submit to a drug test and background check
