Maintenance Electrical Engineer
Pay Range: $ 28.00 – $ 35.00 (shift differential offered for 2nd & 3rd shifts.
Shift: 1st, 2nd and 3rd
Location: Georgetown, KY
Position Type: Direct Hire with Full Benefits
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installing, repairing and maintain industrial equipment and can troubleshoot and diagnosed mechanical failures and minor electrical issues with the equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform all work-related functions in a safe and orderly manner.
- Must have strong knowledge and experience with 480v, PLCs, AB ControlLogix, or other brands.
- Lead and direct the electrical and instrumentation department's reliability and training initiatives.
- Electrical reliability programs to improve the reliability of instrumentation and electrical distribution systems.
- Lead and direct specialty contractors.
- Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs.
- Equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Direct and coordinate installations, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
- Assessing required maintenance tools and skills required for efficient maintenance of equipment.
- Perform any other duties assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Experience in Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of the use of Power tools.
- Ability to read and work for blueprints and Manuals
- 1 to 3 yrs experience working in a Heavy Industrial environment with exposure to such safety hazards as heavy fork truck traffic.
- Must have the ability to work around steel parts heated to over 2000F and automated equipment such as conveyors and robots

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Must be able to communicate well with others.
- Must be able to work as part of a team.
- Work in high places and confined spaces.
- Work with schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate the needs of the business.
Physical Requirements:
- Continuous amounts of standing
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
