Malone Workforce is hiring production workers in Memphis, TN. The position involves ensuring the proper and efficient running of equipment to manufacture and deliver metal end finished goods to customers.
Primary Duties
- Adhere to documented safety guidelines (Job Safety Analyses, Hazardous Energy Control Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures) including Trailer Lock-Out, Changing Banding or Stretch Film.
- Stage raw materials, remove packaging, thread aluminum and steel coils, place metal strips into press magazine, and accurately place and thread large steel coils on multi-die presses.
- Manage and tamp scrap metal as used metal is discharged from the press, including tamping scrap metal coil, managing discharged metal strip skeletons, and chopped scrap from ribbon-fed presses.
- Maintain housekeeping, organization, and cleanliness of assigned areas per the Master Sanitation Schedule, including regular wiping of press equipment, and cleaning up metal ends, scrap pieces, and chopped ends.
- Work overtime as scheduled, potentially up to twelve hours per day for seven days a week.
- Lift up to 50 lbs when necessary and meet all physical requirements of the position, including standing on concrete for extended periods, twisting, bending, and managing sharp metal surfaces with appropriate PPE.
- Safely navigate narrow passages and multiple obstacles on the concrete floor, including oil pans, pallets, hoses, conduit, and contaminants.
- Manage all PPE requirements including cut-resistant sleeves and gloves, hearing protection, safety eyewear, goggles, face shield, and any other specialized PPE required for specific tasks.
- Perform all tasks as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One year of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Must successfully complete appropriate job testing requirements.

Job Details
- Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
- Hours: 3:00 p. – 11:00 p.
- Workdays: Monday to Friday
