Industrial Automation Engineer
Details:
- Pay: $75k – $90k depending on exp.

Responsibilities:
- Optimization of current manufacturing processes
- Implementation of new manufacturing processes utilizing automated equipment.
- Robotic, CNC, and automated manufacturing equipment specification, procurement, implementation and support.
- Design and build new equipment.
- Maintain and improve existing equipment.
- Procure tools and equipment.
- Document and organize all projects worked on.
- Collaborate with Remote Projects team for existing equipment and future projects
- Support operations and company initiatives.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
Base Qualifications and Competencies:
- Education: Qualified candidates will possess, at minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Engineering discipline.
- Experience: At least 5 Years’ experience designing, specifying, implementing, and supporting automated manufacturing equipment required.
- Skills:
- Industrial control system design, implementation, and troubleshooting
- Siemens PLC logic writing, programming, and troubleshooting
- Electrical system design, trouble shooting, wiring, and documentation
- Robotic experience
- Proficient TIA portal experience
- Automation Direct PLC experience a plus
- Proficient knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD as well as project management and organizational skills preferred
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.).
