Overview

Mission of the Position

The employee will be responsible for, but not limited to, planning and system-side creation and optimization of packaging and packaging requirements to maintain part quality and cost efficiency.

Common Functions

1. Promote comply and adhere to safety standards and OSHA regulations
2. Comply with quality standards
3. Support and enforce the Schnellecke SPIRIT
4. Submit and support suggestions / ideas for improvement / KAIZEN
5. Adhere to 5S standards in area of responsibility
6. Promote the the client's Team Empowerment Program (STEP).
7. Comply with the emergency strategies set in place
8. Execution of tasks and processes according to training manuals and work instructions
9. On time processing of material flow

Essential Functions

1. Time and quality oriented processing of all material to repack in the area of responsibility
2. Execution of tasks and processes according to training manuals and work instructions
3. Check for damages of material in the container before packing
4. Escalation of deviations
5. Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management in accordance with skill level.

Faculties

• True and complete application (no omissions or falsifications)
• Must be able to pass mandatory drug screen
• Must be able to pass a background check per the client standards
• Frequently able to walk/move around warehouse floor
• Must be able to lift up to 33 pound containers and place them in proper locations on a frequent basis

Pay/Shift

1st: 6a-2:30p= 14.05$
2nd: 2p-10:30p=15.05$
3rd: 10p-6:30a= 14.55$
