Malone Staffing is looking for Battery Technician starting pay is $25/hr!!
Job Summary:
-
Perform basic to complex repairs on batteries, chargers, and changing equipment as directed by the service department within quoted times
-
Work around high voltage and perform LOTO
-
Industrial Maintenance preferred
-
Utilize electronic testing equipment
-
Conduct thorough inspections on any equipment listed above to identify repairs that are needed and report all findings on work orders
-
Coordinate with Supervisor and or Parts department to obtain parts needed for repairs
-
Communicate clearly with customers about needed repairs or additional maintenance items
-
Must be able to pass and obtain a forklift license on all equipment
-
Keep service vehicle clean and stocked with supplies
-
Maintain personal workplace safety and cleanliness requirements as directed by company policy
-
Comply with all quality and safety procedures as outlined by ProLift Material Handling
-
Complete required training specified by ProLift and or Toyota Material Handling?
Educational/Job Requirements
-
High School Graduate or Equivalent
-
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the material handling industry

Must maintain a good driving record
-
Basic computer skills
-
Perform repairs with a high degree of accuracy and competence
-
Interpret Engineered systems irregularities and identify appropriate solutions
-
Customer oriented; ensuring lasting relationships with external and internal customers
-
Possess strong commitment to team environment dynamics
-
Must be self-motivated and organized
-
Eye, hand, and foot coordination
-
May require frequent driving, standing, walking, bending, pulling, pushing, crawling, squatting, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motions
-
Must have the ability to continuously lift, carry, push, or pull 25-50 lbs.
