Malone Workforce Solutions is hiring Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a growing manufacturing company specialized in engineering and manufacturing metal.
- Location: Libertyville, IL
- Pay Rate: $19/hr
- Temp-Hire
- 1st shift Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming raw materials, components, supplies, etc.; ensure accuracy of order received against shipping and order records; may conduct initial inspection of the condition of materials.
- Ensure orders are accurately packed and ready for shipment on scheduled day/time.
- Coordinate with shipping and freight companies to schedule pickups and confirm deliveries.
- Utilize company software to enter and manage inventory of incoming and outgoing materials, supplies and products.
- Work with Manufacturing, Sales, Accounting and other company departments to address, issues, shortages and complaints.
- Help supervise union hourly warehousemen.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- One to three years of experience with shipping and receiving preferred.
- One year experience with leadership.
- SAP experience, strongly preferred.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in timely manner.
