Malone Staffing has several openings for Platers/ Polishers/ Grinders in the Owensboro area. If you are looking to turn a job into a career, this is the position for you!
Full Job Description
Grind, mask and weld metal parts in preparation for electroplating process.
Supports/works in-house production as assigned. Must be flexible and eager to cross train into other areas as needed.
Experience and ability to learn the basics of electroplating, machining, and thermal spray techniques.
Ability to read prints, use technical measuring devices i.e., calipers, micrometers, etc. Good math and reasoning skills required.
Experience to safely use a wide variety of tools, machines, and processes such as grinders, saws, polishers, acetylene cutting torches, welders, overhead cranes, forklifts, lathes, etc.
*This is not an assembly line position and it requires regular lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent bending, stooping and climbing. Is often in very hot/humid conditions in the warmer months.
