Responsibilities:
- Identify Countermeasures / Process improvements for eliminating NVA activities
- Perform Line Balancing Studies using charts
- Should have experience working in BIW – Automotive robot weld lines
- Create Current State VSM and find out capacities of each cell
- Analyze data collected from shop floor and perform capacity calculation and cell utilization
- Analyze bottleneck in the process, understand current challenges and projects in place to improve performance
- Capture Process Videos for all Product Variants
- Data collection for time study and Perform VA / NVA / RNVA analysis
- Create / Update VSM for current state and chart out future state VSM
- Identify Countermeasures / Process improvements for eliminating NVA activities
- Perform Line balancing studies using charts
- Update work instructions with the changes and transfer to latest templates
- Material and internal supply logistics study and identify wastes in current process
- Propose process improvements to reduce the indirect labor cost
- Support in implementing the Process improvements
Education
- BS degree in Engineering: Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical or technical field of study.
