Malone Workforce Solutions announced this week that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire OmniSource Staffing. The transition remains subject to customary closing conditions. The transaction is targeted to close by the end of March 2017.
“We are excited to be able to purchase such a solid existing staffing business and look forward to growing our business nationally with this addition,” said Malone co-owner Terry Malone. “Malone is performing well and this acquisition will only improve the overall health of our company.” Malone has a stated focus to grow in the U.S.
Malone Workforce Solutions began as an employee recruiting firm in Louisville, Kentucky in 1969. Founded by Joe Malone as Falls City Placement, Malone now stands as the oldest recruiting company based out of Kentucky. When his sons joined in the ’90s, they expanded the company into multiple divisions to offer a full suite of workforce solutions to their clients. Malone takes pride in making positive changes for their clients’ businesses and employees’ lives. Louisville will remain the headquarters for Malone and the company will continue to evaluate long term opportunities with existing locations and new locations that OmniSource staffing brings to the company.
“Malone and OmniSource share the same vision, values, and dedication to customer service & employee support,” said Tim Malone, Co-owner of Malone Solutions. “The addition of OmniSource will grow Malone Workforce Solutions to an estimated annual revenue over $170 million”.
The addition of OmniSource will increase the Malone locations to 47 offices throughout 14 states while servicing clients in over 40 states.
